Behind that favorite song

I love music almost as much as I love Hockey. My favorite genre of music? Country, 100%. (: (Yes, I do like other types.) My favorite song happens to be country, and written by my favorite person in the world. His name is Keith Urban. The favorite song would be called: Stupid Boy. It's such a true, written song, not to say that Keith Urban sings it perfectly. But, I adore it so much. It tells the tale of a stupid boy, and I know that everyone has a stupid boy in their life. Even if it's a stupid girl. Mostly though, we talk about the stupid boy that wrecked our life and broke our hearts. (: We all have felt the feeling. And Keith Urban expresses it in this song.

Her New Favorite Song

Yes, I have a new favorite song. I do love Stupid Boy, but I have fallen deeply in love with a new song. Honestly, I listen to it 24/7. (: It's called Teardrops on My Guitar by Taylor Swift, another country artist. This has got to be the best song to describe my so-called love life at the moment. Well, part of it at least. It's about a girl (Taylor Swift) who is bestfriends with this guy named Drew. She loves him, but he doesn't realize it, and is in love with another girl. Believe me, it's a great song, and the video isn't bad at all. (: Listen to it. It's good.

Heros and Idols Talk

So I do have a hero, and it's an odd hero. Actually, I have two heros. My favorite sport is ice hockey. It's my life, completely. I pratically live at the icerink near by, and I've grown up around hockey, figureskating, the whole shabang. And hey, My dance teacher was Tara Lipinski's dance teacher, and taught her everything. So you'd think, Wow, Your hero is Tara Lipinski, right? Or Michelle Kwan, or someonelike that!? And I'd have to say no. Mackenzie Rosman? No. Cody Linley? No. Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill, Kellie Pickler? No, no, no.

I'd love to say that Keith Urban is my idol, and in most ways, he is. Him admitting himself into rehab? Yeah, that just makes me love him even more for who he is. And hey, Tim McGraw...he's amazing, and he used to be my idol, since I was five. But Keith Urban replaced him, but I'll always love Tim. But no, they're not my idols. Although Keith Urban is my idol, I have a separate hero. And hey, it's odd, but still. He's amazing.

Mike Knuble plays for the Flyers. At the moment, Hockey is off season. But during the 2006-2007 season, he had the second most amount of points on the Flyers. He had around fifty-four points. He got incredibly hurt during a game against the Rangers, and he made it his priority to get back as fast as he could. Any other player would have just sat for the rest of the season--the Flyers had nothing to lose, they weren't going to the playoffs, and there were only around ten games left. But he came back before he was supposed to. And HE made a difference. He is my hero. He has a passion for the game, and he knows how to play it. He's dedicated to making the fans happy and excited. When Mike Knuble has the puck, you think "what will he do with it this time?". He may not be the captain of the Flyers, and he may not always have an 'A' on his jersey. But to me, he's better than a captain.

He's a hero in my eyes.
